Barnyard Expo~ Nature Play
The Barnyard Nature Play Expo, gives you an opportunity to meet and greet with the animals of Slakmarket Farm that are made available to our program. You may encounter a cow (calves), sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, and ducks.
The Barnyard Expo featuring these dear farm animals is serving as a living enrichment for the community.
This social engagement with the farmer and the animals is to encourage your family to experience petting, feeding, and observing as we talk about the animals and their natural behaviors.
During the demonstrations, the farmers will chat about the animals’ personalities and their skills, along with the dedication and knowledge it takes to care for them. Giving children time for nature play & observing as we talk about the animals and their natural behaviors.
