This is your invitaion to come stay overnight with us and experience life on a working micro dairy farm.
Our farm is a magical place for all ages, this is especially true for little eyes and hands! They are fascinated with feeding cows, sheep, and ducks (just to name a few).
Bringing in and preparing each cow for their individual milking session is an honorable chore that captivates the mind of all ages!
So what would it benefit to allow your child to enter the right of passage into agriculture at Slak Market Farm?
They understand the connection and the also the responsibility between themselves, the land, and the animals that provide them with food.
Does spending a couple of days free from electronics, milking cows, collecting freshly laid eggs, petting goats, holding chickens, playing in a creek bed, feeding all these critters, and climbing over hay bales sound like a natural way for allowing your child to be present and fall into that connection?
